摘要

This paper provides the procedure for testing dyestuff and dye solution preparation in a dye house to get maximum RFT % at the time of production.AFTER the invention of continuous dyeing range in 1940s by DuPont day by day its popularity increases. The visual appearance of the fabric, freedom from creasing, unifor-mity of color & reproducibility of the shade & productivity increases in continuous dyeing range than batch wise process. On the other hand capital expenditure is consid-erably higher in case of continuous dyeing range. So to increase the profitability Right in First Time (RFT) is very essential in case of continuous dyeing range. Dye house equipped with continuous dyeing range faces serious diffi-culties recently due to reduction of average batch size. The decrease of average batch size for continuous dyeing in various geographical areas over the last four decades is shown in Table 1.
