The Surat textile cluster, is better known as the largest man-made fibre goods manufacturing hub in India. But now, in order to increase the viability and generate better returns, a textile entrepreneur is exploring opportunities outside the synthetic fabrics segment.rnThe Mr Mahendra Chaudhary owned, Pratibha Textiles Ltd has ventured into production of linen fabrics from natural fibres, which is derived from flax. As of date, the Aditya Birla group company, Jayashree Textiles is the biggest producer of linen in India and also has a chain of retail stores in the name of 'Linen Club".
