Numerous households that we might visit at this time of the year would see his colourful idols nicely clothed in the best of attire, and replete with all kinds of decoration. Depending on convenience and personal beliefs, the idol is then worshipped for anywhere between 1 to 11 days, and eventually submerged in a water-body till he can be welcomed back next year.
