Tht Karur Textile Park, which is among the 40 parks mooted by the Union Government under the integrated textile park scheme, is expected to be ready within the next six months.rnUnder the scheme, the Government provides a grant of up to 40 per cent of the cost ot setting up a textile park with a ceiling of Rs 40 crore. Sharing details about the Karur Textile Park, its Chairman, Mr M. Nfichimuthu, said: "The estimated outlay is Rs 120 crore. We have received the grant amount of Rs 36.27 crore and availed financial support from banks to the tune of Rs 65 crore. Shareholders' contribution accounts for the remaining sum of about Rs 15 crore. We are 60 members.". About 50 per cent of the work is over and we are hoping to complete the project in six months, he said.
