摘要

The ever increasing demand of the customer for greener and cheaper cotton textiles led to the development of many international standards of acceptance. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is one such unified and globally accepted standard. GOTS focuses in detail on the criteria while processing organic textile. The Global Organic Textile Standard was developed by the international working group with the following four participating organizations at INTERCOT in 2005.
