Chenab Textile Mills, a Unit of Sutlej Industries Ltd (K.K.Birla group) situated in Kathua District (Jammu & Kashmir) has been granted authorization according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 to use the Oeko -Tex mark on 8 th of January, 2008 from Shirley Technologies Ltd, Manchester (U.K). It is one of the biggest spinning mills manufacturing P/V, P/C, Cotton Melange, Acrylic and blended yarns. It regularly supplies dyed yarn to domestic and export market. It also has the biggest Fibre dyeing department in India. It also has Cotton yarn dyeing plant with all latest machinery.
