摘要

Textile speciality chemicals go hand in hand with the textile fibres. In the seventeeth century, cotton and wool joined silk, flax, and hemp. Rayon appeared in the beginning of the twentieth century and a great variety of other regenarated fibres like viscose and cupraammonium rayon came in the field. Synthetic fibres like nylon, polyester and acrylic fibres joined the band wagon and newer blends were introduced. The introduction of texturing processes, to generate durable crimps, loops, and other fibre characteristics came, with more complex processing problems and one of the severe problems was level dyeing.
