In their quest for advancing colour in changing times, SDC Mumbai region in conjunction with Textile Committee featured the audiovisual presentations of antique natural dyes obtained from nature by the young talent and modern Laser dyes manmade by the academia on 9th December 2005 at Textile Committee Auditorium attended by technical executives from the industry, academia, students, marketing and sales personnel. The topics highlighted 'Natural Dyes: Ajrakb - A Synergy of Nature' by Mrs. Manju Hundekar and 'Structures and Syntheses of Laser Dyes' by Dr. N. Sekar. Professor M.L. Gulrajani (IIT- Delhi) graced the occasion, summed up the proceedings and added luster with comments in his inimitable style.
