摘要

The advanced testing methods of X-ray diffractometer and solid-state CP/MAS (cross polarization/magic angle spinning) ~(13)C NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) were used to study naturally colored cotton. It was shown that the coloring material in cotton affected crystallization of the fiber. The degree of crystallinity and crystal dimension would increase after coloring material was extracted. The coloring material in the cotton distributed mainly in cell, some distributed in second cell wall. The colorant distribution in naturally colored cotton would change remarkably after extracted of supercritical CO_2 and scoured of alkali.
