The finishing process imparts aesthetic properties to the fabric as per the end use requirements.The main objectives of resin finishing are to improve both the dry and wet crease recovery angles and the shape retention of the fabric. Cross linking agent, is a substance that promotes or regulates intermolecular covalent bonding between polymer chains, linking them together to create a more rigid structure. There are three types of resin finishing treatments. 1. Anti crease finishing 2. Wash and wear finishing 3. Durable press treatment.
