It is also required as an intermediate for end uses like lamination (of two fabrics to one another) on flock for anchoring the tow / flock on the substrate. Increasing exposure / utility of coated article to use 1. Shoes - inner lining of the shoes is coated 2. Clothes - Labels on articles are coated 3. Furnishing - Artificial leather is coated with polyurethane (PU) for increasing abrasion resistance 4. Curtains - Dim out / black out, showers curtains 5. Suitcases / tents / tarpaulins / umbrella 6. Military - IR fabrics, NBC warfare suits. 7. Woven / Non woven / knits - all can be coated by various techniques. 8. Coated textile combines the beneficial properties of a textile component like tensile strength, tearing strength & elongation control while the coating provides protection against the environment to which it is subjected.
