A high functionality is demanded from textiles which are used in direct contact with skin. These articles are used for taking care of wounds or for wearers who are sensitive to allergies or irritation sensitive persons. In contrast to bandages these undergarments need permanent finishing to have ease of use. The aim is to have biocompatible skin tolerating finished textiles. The finishes have to be comfortable to wear and use for longer periods (strong sweating) and easy to wash and wear.
