The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) organised an exclusive Interactive meeting with Mr. Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, Hon'ble Union Minister of Textiles on 26th July 2003 in Mumbai with a view to provide an opportunity to member-exporters to interact with the hon'ble Minister and suggest steps to increase exports. Mr. S. B. Mohapatra, Secretary (Textiles) and Mr. Subhodh Kumar, Textile Commissioner were present on the occasion. The meeting which was attended by over 160 members also included Mr. Rakesh Mehra, Chairman, SRTEPC, Mr. Sanjeev Saran, Immediate Past Chairman of Council, Mr. G. K. Gupta, Chairman, Textile Committee and former Chairman of Council, Mr. R. L.Toshniwal, former Chairman of Council and members of Committee of Administration of the Council.
