摘要

The worldwide demand of knit goods is growing. Approxi-mately 70-80 % of the knitted goods are knitted in tubular form. Today most of the fabric is bleached and dyeing processed by exhaust processing in jets. The various quality problems and approximately 10 - 15 % higher processing costs are forcing to change to open width continuous pro-cessing. This development has been started on woven goods already 30 years ago. Today open width processing of woven goods is state of art. Benninger as a supplier of machines for continuous open width processing has developed new con-cepts for knitted goods. The main advantages are the im-provement of quality and less losses through to defects coming from jet processing and approx. 10 - 15 % less production costs.
