Rhodia has introduced Rhodorsil HALS oils, a textile softener system which claims to offer softness without yellowing. A patented amino-silicone formula, Rhodorsil HALS oils combines HALS (hindered amine light stabilising) technology with the silicone backbone. The result is a fabric that maintains its whiteness while achieving softness. Rhodia is the first sllicones company to apply this chemistry to textile softeners.
