The use of polyacrylamide in desizing baths increases pickup of the desizing bath by size fabric. This increased pickup results in more efficient removal of size from the fabric in equipment operated at atmospheric pressure. Batch-to-batch reproducibility and cost savings can be achieved by use of Polyacrylamide in desizing baths.
