Manheim's latest drive-through auction at Bruntingthorpe (20 June) saw nearly £600,000-worth of stock go under the hammer. The third auction at the Leicestershire proving ground played host to 97 physical auction lots as well as virtual auctions from sites in Gloucester, Colchester, Washington and Shotts. Vendors included Hitachi Capital, Royal Mail and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, with a range of rigid, artic and bodied chassis vans for sale. Notable among the sales were the consistent prices achieved by a range of DAF LFs from 2005 LF55s to 2009 LF45s most of which sold (provisionally) for approximately £1,200.
