On behalf of ANZCA and everyone here, greetings to Ngunnawal peoples. Thank you, Aunty Roslyn Brown for your warm Welcome to Country - Canberra - your country since time began. On Monday I learnt that Welcome to Country protects our spirits while we, visitors, are in your county and marks our respect for the country we have now entered. Your welcome invites us to leave our footprints on your land and to walk among and with the peoples of the land. I am deeply honoured for the privilege. To our honoured guests, keynote speakers, long-time and new members, and all conference presenters and supporters, welcome to the 25th Anniversary Conference of the Australian and New Zealand Communication Association. A special thank you to Sora Park, Glen fuller, Kate Holland and the team for the extensive organising. This year the theme is Making Sense - Data, Publics and Storytelling.
