According to the Croatian Telecommunications Agency (HAT), Croatia's telecommunications services market was worth approximately HRK13,721 million in the year ended December 31, 2006, up by nearly 5.5% from HRK13,010 million in 2005 and by 10.2% from HRK12,447 million in 2004. The fixed-line and mobile communications service markets account for the majority of revenues each year, but the mobile market overhauled the fixed-line market for the first time in 2002 and, with fixed-line revenues now falling each year, the gap between the two is now widening rapidly.
