Wouldn't it be nice to know who's messaged you without having to look at your phone? To do this, set up unique notification sounds for messages from specific people. We'll show you how to do this using Google's free Messages app. Install the app from www.snipca.com/30360. If you use a phone that isn't made by Google (Samsung, Huawei, etc), you'll be prompted to set this as your default messaging app. Open the app and select a text message from a contact you want to set a unique notification sound for. Next, tap the three dots at the top right, Details, Notifications, then tap the Advanced dropdown menu. Now tap Sound (see screenshot below left) to see a range of options you can listen to. Tap Save once you've chosen.
