An Englishman's home may be his castle, but that doesn't mean he wants his wife and daughter imprisoned inside it by a moat, courtesy of Virgin Media. That's what greeted Bolton homeowner David Henshall when he returned from work, according to the Manchester Evening News. As part of Virgin's £3billion broadband expansion, its contractors dug a trench and erected a fence that entirely surrounded the Henshalls' home, "barricading" mum and daughter inside.
