Your browser is the final frontier between your internet connection and you. Strong, fast broadband and Wi-Fi can be let down by a browser clogged with years' worth of extensions, plugins, caches and other junk that slows your PC and your internet. You could clear out the junk manually by using either Chrome's built-in Task Manager; the 'about:addons-memory' extension for Firefox ; or from the Tools menu in Internet Explorer. Alternatively, clean them all at once with the excellent Desktop tool Auslogics Browser Care Click a tab to choose one of your installed browsers and explore the options for cleaning it up. These include changing its default home page to 'Blank page' to make the browser open faster; removing cookies, login files and other hard-drive clutter that slows it down; and disabling or removing RAM-clogging plug-ins such as Flash and Java. You can also wipe and restore your browser from the Browser Care window. To apply any of these changes in Chrome, you'll need to temporarily unlink Chrome from your Google account.
