The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media's screen adaptation of Lewis's first book in the Narnia series, features realistic CG animals and half-CG creatures acting alongside real people in live-action and digital environments. Directing the film is Andrew Adamson, who honed his skills as co-director on Shrek and Shrek 2, and prior to that as visual effects supervisor for Batman & Robin and Batman Forever.
