Although most point-and-shoot cameras' automatic settings usually do a good job under typical conditions, they often produce substandard results in more-unusual shooting situations. Panasonic's compact DMC-FX33 tackles this issue with its Intelligent Auto mode, which analyzes the subject and adjusts the shooting settings to match. Despite its small size, the $299.95 DMC-FX33 is full-featured, with an 8.1-megapixel sensor, a 3.6x Leica wide-angle zoom lens (28mm equivalent), a 2.5-inch LCD, and Panasonic's MegaOIS optical image stabilization.
