Yantian International Container Terminal (YICT) and China Rail Container Transport Corp (CRCTC) have joined up commence a container on rail service between Yantian (Shenzhen) and Kunming (Yunnan province). The weekly service, using trains capable of loading up to 50 × 40ft/45ft containers, departs from Yantian every Wednesday and takes 50 hours to complete the 1,800km trip.
