The latest developments, challenges and best practice solutions in food safety within the manufacturing chain, including for confectionery and bakery, were discussed in detail at the inaugural Food Safety Summit. Held at the Harper Adams University, Newport, Shropshire, UK, attendees from across the food manufacturing sector received advice from a variety of industry experts, with Campden BRI, BRC Global Standards, Harper Adams University and sponsors Ishida Europe, which produces a number of weighing systems applicable for confectionery, all providing a focused technical and educational programme.
