Almost 38,000 trade visitors from over 140 countries attended ISM in Germany from 29 January to 1 February, with 1,647 exhibitors from 68 countries. Despite the share of foreign visitors remaining constant at around 67 per cent, ISM organisers Koelmesse registered growth in the number of visitors from Japan, India, Pakistan and the Baltic region. There was, however, a decline in the number of visitors from China due to the Chinese New Year celebrations. In addition, there were fewer visitors from the UK and Turkey.
