Guest Editor: Special Issue on Recycling Wastes for Use as Construction Materials Construction and demolition (C&D) waste management has become a pressing environmental issue in many parts of the world. The Faculty of Construction and Environment of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University held the First International Conference on Sustainable Urbanization (ICSU) on 15-17 December 2010 in Hong Kong, and within the ICSU there was a special min-symposium session devoted to recycling of C&D waste.
