What has been achieved since the merger of Amec DPS and Bluestone? This has been one of the most exciting periods in my career because the merger created a business with a truly wide capability across all ranges of work and across the UK. We can now deliver small projects from around ￡100,000 to large complex deals of ￡300m or more. How difficult has it been to merge Bluestone and Amec DPS? DPS gave us a unique and strong design capability and we now have 450 designers sitting under the Morgan Ashurst umbrella. The merger was a marriage made in heaven. The opportunity has allowed us to double the size of our existing business. It's a good fit which gives us enhanced national and major projects capability, coverage in Scotland, as well as Amec's strong presence in PFI and in the North of England.
