One of the quickest ways to make an older line... well, quicker, is by upgrading the controls and drives from analog to digital, as these two real-world examples show. As Intertape Polymer Group, Inc., (IPG) coped with an aging coating line, they needed to determine whether to retrofit the existing line or purchase a new one. IPG's high-performance tapes and cloths are designed for aerospace, automotive and industrial applications. The company couldn't afford not to be up-to-date.
