The Alaska Section continues to grow as it provides training and support to the project control professionals of Alaska and the companies that they represent. This month's training topic was, "Tips and Traps in the Job Search in Today's Economy," presented by Christina Bloom, a CH2MHILL HR recruiter.rnThe Alaska Section's monthly meetings typically occur during the lunch hour from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. During the meetings, section business is quickly conducted in the first 30 minutes, allowing for up to an hour devoted to the presentation and Q&A session afterwards.rnLunch is provided by a corporate sponsor and members, as well as non-members, are encouraged to attend each month. The presentations cover a wide range of topics related to AACE professional fields and are selected in advance by the section officers and members. The Education Director is responsible for planning and arranging the speakers that will present on the chosen topics each month.
