The following paper addresses the importance of the Internet in supporting rightwing extremist objectives. More specifically, this paper will examine Internet facilitation of information sharing, fundraising, social networking and recruitment, publicity, and risk mitigation. Specific tactics under investigation include, but are not limited to, the use and creation of electronic bulletin boards, the widespread adoption of multimedia technologies to attract children and teenagers, and the ever increasing use of writing and speaking in code.
