摘要

The influence of an extract of biomass of U. victoris cells cultured in vitro on the relation between the yield of transformants, ceD survival, and changes in the conformation of plasmid DNA is studied in the transformation system of E. coli treated with CaCl_2 using the DNA of the plasmid pBR322. The data obtained are compared to the influence of certain salts of mono- and bivalent metals on these parameters. It is shown that there exist different mechanisms responsible for variations in the survival rate of a cell population and yield of transformants depending on whether salts or the plant extract is used.
