Chinese dairy companies are planning to increase investment in milk production and dairy processing facilities overseas to expand domestic sales and market share by importing high quality products that local consumers consider to be safe and healthy. Overseas investment remains focussed on New Zealand and Australia, where Chinese companies are buying dairy farms and processing plants in addition to building new production facilities to increase the volume of goods exported to their home market.
