Hochwald Foods is closing production at the Weiding site in Bavaria, Germany as of 31 March 2018. The German dairy is focusing on the processing of cooperative milk, increasing its efficiency in production and optimising logistics, the firm says. Parts of the production are being shifted to other sites of the Hochwald Group, including Rhine-land-Palatinate, North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Lower Saxony and the Dutch Bolsward."
