Q. What in your background prepared you for your current job? When they closed the movie theatre in Beeskow, I tried hard to prevent and rescue the building. I developed a concept to reopen it, where an ice cream parlour would matter the most. Because we did not want to order ice cream from someone else, I started visiting trade shows and the home of ice cream - Italy. In Italy I learned the essentials of making ice cream. When I went back to Germany, I opened the ice cream parlour and lounge. Now I was able to design and bounce my ideas off the customers. People were thrilled and different hotels and restaurants started ordering our products. Extraordinary creativity gave birth to superior flavours like asparagus, mustard and tomato-basil. Even some Michelin-starred chefs started paying attention. Demand increased further and so we founded the IceGuerilla company in 2009.
