When Aria Foods took over Milko, one of the major players in the Swedish milk processing scene, the country's monopolies board required that some of the 250 million kg per year Milko organisation be sold off. Now the former Milko plant at Grado that changed hands as part of this agreement makes its reappearance as a competitor. Its new owner, the supermarket chain Coop Sverige, is currently refurbishing the Grado plant for the processing of its own-label dairy products.
