The collapse of Dairy Farmers of Britain (DFOB) has sent Shockwaves through the British dairy induscry. The agricultural milk co-operative was wound up last month after Stephen Oldfield, David Kelly and Ian Green of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) were appointed joint receivers.rnNFU Dairy Board chairman Gwyn Jones has called on DFOB to do everything they can to help farmer members. "Lessons need to be learnt from what has happened," says Jones. "We all know that it (DFOB) has been in trouble for a long time. It has been a shock to the farmers and it is a huge blow to the co-operative movement."
