I first starred working on a dairy farm in 1983 milking cows. I joined Dairy Crest in September 1984 at a cheese plant, making Cheshire and Caerphilly on the shop floor. In 1987 I began a three year diploma in dairy. During this time in the industry I gained experience working in a range of firms, from cheese making to packing plants.
