Bds members will be saddened to hear that Stuart Davies, formerly the reservoir safety manager for Welsh Water, passed away on 29 July 2011. Lyonel Stuart Davies was born on 29 June 1942 in Haverfordwest. In his early life Stuart discovered a love of sport - swimming, water polo, cricket and rugby - and also for maths and science. Stuart studied civil engineering and became chartered in the 1960s. He worked at Trawsfynydd Power Station and on the construction of Llandegfedd Reservoir near Cardiff.
