In previous issue Blessed Land (Pelistine), was reviewd in the light of scred scriptures. Here it is being reviewed through history and scriptures. The human habitation in Palestine is recorded to exist at least 100,000 years back. Evidence of the domestication of plants and animals can be dated to about 10,000 BC. The most notable achievement of the ancient Palestinians was the development of a linear alphabet, originated by the Canaanites in the 2nd millennium BC and picked up by the Phoenicians and Israelites about 1000 BC. The occupation of Palestine by the Hebrews, to whom the area was known as Canaan, was probably completed by the end of the 13th century BC. Palestine also remained under Egyptian control from about 1550 to 1200 B.C.E (Before Christian Era).
