A bomb on October 30 killed five Pakistani soldiers in a village near the Afghan border in the South Waziristan Agency, reports Dawn. "Number of martyred soldiers due to IED explosion in South Waziristan has risen up to five," a senior security official said. At least five people were killed and 17 others were injured in a bomb explosion at a crowded car repair market on Double Road near Zarghon Road in Quetta on October 30. Separately, unidentified militants on October 30' attacked a house where rescue teams were stationed located in Awaran District, reports Dawn.
