In order to build (mis)perceptions and influence new US Administration's policy options, 'creative alarmists', are busy prophesying scenarios - based on mainly conjectures, to draw a nexus between nuclear weapons and terrorism. The objective - to portray Pakistan as a country that is at the intersection of WMD and terrorism.rnAccording to John Mueller, an American scholar, creative alarmists that are basically members of the 'terrorism industry' - include politicians, bureaucrats and the media, who have prime motive in exaggerating the threat of WMD terrorism. One such attempt has been made recently by another member of the terrorism industry - David Sanger, who happens to be the Chief Washington correspondent of the New York Times.
