History will not exonerate Bush and his dan for the colossal human tragedy that USA has committed when it was at the zenith of its military power. The 'Soviet Union' receding into history unleashed a grandiose US urge to destroy every single Muslim country which posed an 'ideological threat' to what was conceived as the pinnacle of western civilization - Capitalistic, and its derivative 'free market economy'.
