During the 2nd Great War, I, as a young officer participated in some of the famous battles of the Burma campaign. The battle of Administrative Box February 1944 -ARAKAN and the battle of the BULGE (on the west bank of the KALA PANZIN river - was one of the toughest battalion actions fought during the ARAKAN campaign. My battalion had suffered over 150 casualties, including the commanding officer) March 1944 have already been cursorily mentioned in some of my articles published earlier in DJ.
