The Samjhota train tragedy could be a turning point in the peace process of Pakistan and India and could swing either way. However, if peace would not be achieved then the burning bodies would be mean- ingless; and if we have a peaceful relationship the sacrifices of the departed souls/victims would be fruitful. Some say this was a conspiracy and others term it the death of humanity. Some call it the second carnage of Gujarat while others take it as a new wave of fundamentalism.
