I have explained in brief detail some of the ground realities with- in this restricted context, to be the basis of our understanding of the dynamics of Indo-Bangla relations particularly from national security perspective. What we must try to remember that any nation worth its salt, shall not sacrifice national aim, objective and security to please others. We must, as first priority, preserve our identity as a sovereign nation and secure our national interest before we formulate our diplomatic policy with our neighbours, especially with India. One of the important aspects that we have never come to realize that the disturbed Indian NE (North East) is a threat to our national security and that India has never taken our concern into account. The Delhi government has failed to pacify most of these states both politically and economically.
