The anticipated Al-Qaeda terrorist attacks hit London on the morning of July 07, 2005, in a series of coordinated bombings on three under- ground trains and a bus travelling through central London during the morning rush hour. Al-Qaeda had been warning Prime Minister Tony Blair of dire consequences since UK forces had captured Basra, and had resorted to repression and killings including use of cluster bombs against the civilian population, The Al-Qaeda resorted to barbaric and inhuman vengeance by bombing tube trains and a double decker bus, the first bomb exploded at 0851 hrs on the Circle Line train between Algate East and Liverpool Street stations. It killed seven people. At 08.56 hrs the second bomb exploded on a train between King Cross and Russel Square tube stations killing 21 people.
