Crises, now and then, are a part of a state's life and should be taken in that stride but generally in our country people in the driving seat overreact to any crisis situation. While history is in the making, the contemporary watchers also keep a keen eye on the responses of the responsible people. What really matters, at the end of the day, is how you behave during the crisis and how do you emerge from a given crisis situation. End of last June, out of the frying pan of Pothohar, I fell into the fire of Dubai. A three week's holiday was pending to my credit and I decided to spend that in UK. I was still in Dubai on 7th July when the London bombing came about. I was booked to fly for UK on 12 July. Some voices from the family, particularly from the women's lobby, were raised against my projected plans of visiting the UK because of the latest development but as my plan could not be jeopardized I left for UK, as scheduled on 12 July.
