December marked the first anniversary of the National Cyber Security Strategy. How has the UK adapted to meet the threats in cyberspace in those 12 months? One thing is clear, the threat continues to grow. As Francis Maude noted in his speech at IA12 marking the anniversary, cyber attacks are one of the top four threats to our national security and cyber crime is costing our economy billions of pounds a year. As both businesses and government move more of their operations online, the opportunities for malicious actors continue to grow.
